obstacles I’m in Korea, work schedule is hectic enough as it is, situation between N and S Korea can change

If I hadn’t made some of the choices I made in my carrier, I definitly wouldn’t be where I’m at now. I am currently in charge of a vehicle that is responsible for the saftey of my team. As a leader, I feel that I have to look out for my subordinates, and give them the guidance they need on accomplishing the tasks that are set before us. I have learned and continue to learn that the following quote will help me out, I have followed it since Basic Training: “Order of tasks: 1. Your Team and Their Equipment 2. Your Equipment 3. Yourself” It’s about Selfless Service

In the first exercise, the main thing that caught my eye was body language. Lying-no eye contact Truth-good eye contact. In the second lesson, it is better not to simply ask or answer closed questions with just a yes or no. Like with the example about the dog, you have to expand, “Is this your dog? Do you know if this dog bites?” As Jedi we must be able to communicate effectivly and say what we mean without sugar coating. No questions at this time.

My spiritual beliefs have been instilled in me since birth. I know right from wrong, because of 1. the way I was taught and 2. The 2 greatest commandments, Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul, and being. and Love thy neighbor as thyself. I try to balance between listening to my consience and “rules of society.” Your consicense looks out for you while some rules look out for everyone and are somtimes a better option. I belive in Heaven and Hell. I believe that when we die, we are judged and the Gates. If your name isn’t in the Lamb’s Book of Life, then you goto Hell. Obviously, by this point, I do believe in God. There are several spiritual practices I believe in and pratice. Meditation, Reading, Prayer, Signing.

Top 3 beliefs

1. I believe in God

2. I believe everyone is resposible for their own actions and concequences thereof

3. I believe FAMILY comes first.

Those are the main 3 beleifs that I was raised with and have always followed. I see and follow these beliefs everyday

Discovering the Path

I was first inspired when I read the book “Christian Ways of the Jedi Masters” and saw how closely everything lined up. I then wanted to follow the Jedi way and make myself better. I found this training from Jax on JRC. I have recieved training in several places, the military, online with JRC and at the LA Gathering, as well as from Master Lee with Kenten Koudu Ryu(a mix of Kendo and Iaijutsu).

The View Along the Way

I define Jedi as someone who wants to better themselves and those around them. I aspire to all aspects and I want to incorporate all attributes into my life. To be Jedi in my society to me means, that I should help and protect those that I can while upholding the Jedi values.

Looking Forward

Training Goals:

3 months- better connections with myself and family

6 months- more knowledge and discipline

1 year- Knight or preparing to enter Knighthood

My biggest challenge will be balancing school, work, and studies

I feel more inspired and confident that I can reach these goals.

I’m an Emotional Intuitive Type and I tried out the meditation excercise. I felt a huge surge of emotion as the negamotions(negative emotions) excited the light. After ending the session I sat there for almost 10 minutes, after feeling a few emotions that I haven’t felt for sometime.
